A Heart Felt Thank You!
The team from TAS DesignBuild was a big supporter of the 2007 Becel Heart&Stroke Ride for Heart fundraiser, surpassing their goal by almost 100%!!!
The 20th Anniversary ride on Sunday June 3rd was the largest success ever! The $2.7 million that you helped the Heart and Stroke Foundation raise will help support advances and breakthroughs such as:
- Blue baby surgery that surgeons use to give tiny patients a chance at full active lives
- Pioneering the use of a clot-busting drug that, when accessed quickly, can reverse the effects of stroke
- Insights into post stroke recovery leading to faster recovery time and improved self sufficiency
Our team goal to raise $5,000 was quite a target to reach, but with the generous donations from our friends and family, we reached a donation level of close to $10,000!
